Sax master Ron Holloway lives in the DC area, so it’s no surprise he showed up to jam with the ABB at this show in Virginia. He shows his versatility by blowing funky soul licks on "The Same Thing" before returning to add jazzy touches to "Desdemona." Also of interest are short, to-the-point versions of "Leave My Blues at Home" and "Hoochie Coochie Man." The former has been played with a long drum segment lately, and the latter with a slide intro, but here they are played closer to the original arrangements.
