Introduction

Eric played to an audience of about 30,000 at the stadium of Porto Alegre's soccer club Grêmio, Estádio Olímpico. The concert originally was announced to take place at Porto Alegre's Estádio Beira-Rio, but the venue had been changed several weeks in advance. Singer and guitarist Roberto Frejat, ex-member of the Brazilian rock band Barão Vermelho (Red Baron), opened the show with the first concert of his solo career. Eric entered the stage with his band at 21:15, starting his two-hour set with "Reptile", again dropping the solo version of "Key to the highway" (which used to be the opening song during the entire world tour).
