Note of erwe:
Everything's played live, no lip-synching here. All artists are backed by the
Sam & Dave orchestra.

I think, this show was originally broadcasted as Beat, Beat, Beat #21 in Dec 1967.
In the mid 80's the TV station (Hessischer Rundfunk) recycled their vaults and
put together some series of new Beat, Beat, Beat shows. Unfortunately, they did not
keep original shows together but split them into a number of series of the new
Beat, Beat, Beat.

This DVD is an attempt to restore what might have been the original Beat, Beat, Beat #21
using digital captures of 4 recently rebroadcasted new Beat, Beat, Beat series. I have
no info about the original sequence of the show, hence, the sequence used on the
DVD is just a guess.

According to info found in the net, Beat, Beat, Beat #21 also contained these tunes
which are missing here (either they were never included in any new Beat, Beat, Beat
series or the according shows just haven't been rebroadcasted):

The Sam & Dave Orchestra -- (I'm A) Road Runner (maybe with Sam Baker?)
Sam Baker -- I Believe In You

This is vintage material which needed some restoration work to be
done by the TV station for getting it in an acceptable form for rebroadcast. You
will notice a very few dropouts of the audio track and at the end the picture of
Sam & Dave just freezes while the audio plays on and the credits scroll across
the screen. These glitches are not capture errors or dropped frames.

On a final note: I did not spend any work in doing crossfades. Hence, the chapter
transitions are a bit rough sometimes. If anyone wants to do it better PM me
and I'll provide you with the original, uncut m2v/mp2 files.
